Exposure to television coverage of terrorism causes women to lose psychological resources much more than men, which leads to negative feelings and moodiness. This has been shown in a new study, conducted at the University of Haifa and soon to be published in Anxiety, Stress & Coping, that examined the differences between men and women in a controlled experiment environment. The University of Haifa’s Business Leaders Forum hosted Minister of Finance Dr. Yuval Steinitz at a prestigious and important event last Tuesday. Chaired by Chairman of the Executive Committee Ami Ayalon and President of the University Prof. Aaron Ben-Ze’ev, the panel discussed “Economic Challenges in the State of Israel”. Attended by senior members of the Israeli business community, everyone present at the meeting received a special New Year’s gift from the University - a personal caricature by the artist who designed the University’s logo.
