The University of Haifa Diplomacy Program will be offering graduate study courses for future diplomats, academics, and practitioners, who are employed in a variety of public and private international, transnational, and multilateral organizations. Focusing on the role of collaborative diplomatic mechanisms, it is designed to provide students with new insights, concepts and analysis tools for fully understanding the enhanced functions of diplomacy in the highly charged global environment.

Over the course of 30 years, the well-known Swiss art collector Dr. Oscar Ghez de Castelnuovo, collected works by people who perished in the Holocaust. In 1978 he donated 137 of those works by 18 different artists to the University of Haifa. The collection is on display at the University’s Hecht Museum.

60% of breast cancer patients who recovered once are still at risk of recurrence, sometimes in other areas of the body. Dr. Dalit Barkan of the University of Haifa’s Department of Biology has developed a unique model that can help research the recurrence phenomenon and possibly prevent it.
